Merlin BBC poll/Arthurian Legends

I was wondering about the relation between Arthurian Legends fan and Merlin BBC fan or... well, both : D
For "being a fan of arthurian legends" I mean: loving arthurian legends, writing about them, reading fanfictions and books about them.

I don't read or write Arthurian fanfic but, I have been studying the legends for years. I do not care for the Merlin BBC show at all. I could not get through 3 episodes. I feel it has so little respect to the original material that it should have been named something else entirely.
I am glad others enjoy it, but I will not be tuning in again.

These are my exactly same thoughts. I still watch it because I... well... I watch everything related to legends. *it's a bit of an obsession*
