I'm not exactly new, but I don't think I've ever really posted before. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I'm reading a series by Rosalind Miles about Guenevere, Arthur and Lancelot. I just started Guenevere Queen of the Summer Country. Has anyone else read them? Are they any good?

I picked up this book today at the library--Isolde, Queen of the Western Isle by Rosalind Miles. Anyone read it? And how'd you like it? NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!! :) Thanks

(Wow. This book has the most amazing cover. I'm thinking I'll be disappointed by what's inside.)

Hi,

I'm new here, stumbling upon this community by accident: what a pleasant surprise!

On a basic note, I, like all members in the community, is an avid reader of all Arthurian Legends and such. Although I'm a newbie in this area, I joined in the hope of getting to know this mystical legendary King better and to keep myself updated on news and announcements.

My interest for King Arthur was first aroused when I was hooked onto Rosalind Miles' novel Isolde. I found Isolde to be a graceful and enchanting beauty, and longed to know more about the love between her and Tristan. It was then that I discovered Miles' trilogy, Guenevere, and even till today, the A-G-L love triangle has captured my utmost attention.

As I am pretty new to LJ, this is my first time posting and I do hope I did not bore you by my ramblings. I love to meet new people; feel free to drop me a note or add me to your friends' list. :)

Hi community, I just found you through some cool person that added me!:) Anyways, I've been interested in Arthurian legend since... well, since First Knight came out. Recently, I have been studying it seriously, and did my 30 page senior thesis on Guinevere's infertility in The Mists of Avalon and Guenevere: Queen of the Summer Country. I was an English major, and now I'm getting my MAE with a concentration in Arthurian Legend. Anyways, I think I am the lone fan of Gwen and her complicated life, but she is definitely my favorite. Any fans of Rosalind Miles books? Anyone read "The Dragon Queen" by Alice Borchardt? Queen of Camelot by Nancy McKenzie? Have read the first Miles book but the rest of these are all on my to be read list.

I'm also quite interested in early music and I hope to find the time to be involved in the SCA at some point.

On page 30 of my own novel about Guinevere, slowly but surely writing... :)

Has anyone ever read the Guenevere Triology by Rosalind Miles?? I read the first one and I'm having a hard time finding the other two. I kind of enjoyed it, and I want to read the rest of it. Anyone read/hear of the trilogy? Thoughts before I go squandering my money?
