Hi : D
Question #1: I'm curious about musicians and artists who sings about Arthurian Legends. Do you know some band/singer? I know (and love) Heather Dale and Blind Guardian but they arer the only ones I'm aware of.

Question#2: I'm looking for an easy modern english Gawain and the Green Knight é_è easy because English is not my first language. Do you know where can I find it?

In the 70s Rick Wakeman put out an album of program rock music called The Legends of King Arthur and the Round Table or something like that. I have it on vinyl; I don't know if it's in print today.

Wait, if you go to YouTube and search on the keywords wakeman arthur you get some performances of the individual peices from the album ... and this playlist seems to comprise the whole album.

Don't know about Arthurian music, but I read a recent translation of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight by Simon Armitage which I really enjoyed, you can check out my review here (http://www.bookbanter.net/reviews2.html#sirgawainandthegreenknight).

I concur with this. I've read the Tolkien and Borroff versions, and Armitage is very much better in terms of readability.

Heather Dale has an entire CD of songs based on Arthurian fiction, all of them fantastic.
