Anybody here has finished reading T.A. Barron's teenage Merlin saga? I wrote the review of the first book here:

Oh! I read those about three years ago. They were very fun and I like them a lot. The last one was a bit disappointing though-- can you say sappy?

There's a sequel series about Avalon and the heir of Merlin. It's pretty decent.

Too bad I have only read the first book so far, and I like it very much.
Have you checked T.A. Barron's website? He says Hollywood has approached him - they want to make a film based on the Lost Years of Merlin! *is very happy*
