Ummm, so. I know T.A. Barron's novels about Merlin are suited more for the adolescent reader, but I admit, I enjoyed The Merlin Effect immensely. Anyone read any of these books? I'm wondering if Barron made up the part about the Thirteen treasures which King Arthur would need to win a war when he returns to the world...in all of my studies of the legends I've never come across anything that mentions these treasures. Heck, I'm pretty sure Barron made it up, but still, it's an interesting notion.

The Thirteen Treasures of Britain have their origin in Welsh myth.

If you're still looking at this. . .
I LOVED T.A. Barron!! Have you read the rest of his Merlin books? He immersed himself in the myths, and was part of the reason I'm into King Arthur in the first place.
