arthurianlegendI was writing my college application essays (potential Medieval/Renaissance Studies major, yay!) and while I was in the middle of writing one about what I love about the Arthurian legends, I came up with this:
1. Do not have sex with your sister. This is a big no-no, especially if she is evil, fertile and endowed with magical powers.
2. Thou shall not covet thy King's wife. If you find yourself in this situation, castrate yourself immediately-- it is better in the long run.
3. Do not sleep with your husband's best freind, especially if you are the queen. Just no. It will not turn out well.

What have we learned from the legends of King Arthur?
