I don't know if any of you know Heather Dale, but her music is phenomenal! She writes music based on the Arthurian Legends, translating them into song. I haven't ordered her CD's yet but I've been listening to music clips (more here) on her website.

Other than the musical "Camelot," does anyone know of any good King Arthur related music?

Just by googling I found:

There's a Myths and Legends of King Arthur & The Knights of the Round Table which is choral and instrumental.

There's a King Arthur Rock Symphony CD, which I think is also instrumental.

Also, I know in the past I've seen the list of Arthurian books in this community, and I'd hate to drive anyone crazy, with the same question over and over and over again, but I really can't seem to find it. If anyone has the link to it, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much!

*how could we possibly leave THESE out*

I used to have a tape (ages ago) called Music for the Mabinogian by Robin Williamson. I bought it out of a sale bin because I missed the 'son' on the end of the name. Turned out to be a great tape in much the same vein as the others you listed.

Wondered whatever happened to it.

Loreena McKennit did a song called "Lady of Shalot". It's a translation from a Shakespere poem I believe. ;) Talks about Camelot and Lancelot.
