King Arthur movie

So I went to see the King Arthur movie. For those of you who didn't see it I won't give away any endings. It did have a more historical feel to it (more Dark Age turmoil than glitzy Hollywood medieval knights in shining armor) Guinevere's portrayal was excellent, she was a strong Celtic warrior woman yet still ladylike and graceful and not a whiny prissy damsel in distress adulteress. The did put in the concept of the matter of Britain ie Arthur weds Guinvevere to be one with the land. I highly recommend it to Arthurian fans.

Hmm...

That's two posts I've read about the same film giving entirely opposing views. Well, I've always said that reviews of books/films/whatever, are the personal veiws of the person writing the review. Sure, it gives you an idea, but I prefer to make my own mind up...I'm definately going to see it when it comes out on the 30th.

I just think I'm going to be wincing at the costumes more than anything. The storyline does look quite good, and as it says, this is based on new evidence (which I would LOVE to see!!), so the story is bound to be different to the tales we know.
