Opinions on "King Arthur" Soundtrack?

I was pleasantly surprised when I read on Amazon that Hans Zimmer scored the soundtrack for the movie, for he is my favorite composer and I loved his score for "The Gladiator" (enjoyed the movie too - that's what's in my mind a good historical epic movie should be). There were many positive reviews posted on the King Arthur soundtrack just a day after its release, and now I am interested in getting it though I have not seen [and probably will not see] the movie. Those who has seen the movie: does the music stand on its own? Usually a good soundtrack has a listening value by itself aside from being played during the movie, and "The Gladiator" in my opinion is exactly that. I for some reason enjoys collecting the OSTs for epic movies and originally had the soundtrack for "Troy" in mind after hearing the trailer music, but I was disappointed that they decided to replace it with a 3-week job. In this summer of large-scale historical movies, I hope to add another historical epic score into my collection. What says everyone? :)

I thought it was just....OK. Not Zimmer's best work. In fact a lot of it sounded like he'd written it in a hurry and just cribbed from some of his "Gladiator" themes. I also probably would've liked it better if it was used better - as it was, it was terribly anvillicious about indicating that This was a Poignant. Moment. Be Sad! Weep, Damn You!

IMO, you're fine just having the "Gladiator" soundtrack.
