Some reccommended readings
Well, I'm sure you have heard of these books/works, but here are some Arthurian-related things I've read before that you might like to check out:
* History of the Kings of Britain by Geoffrey of Monmouth
* The lays of Marie de France, especially Guigemar and Lanval
* Chretien de Troyes's The Knight of the Cart, The Knight with the Lion, Erec and Enide
* The Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser
* Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
* The Vulgate Cycle, or the Lancelot-Grail Cycle, including stories such as the history of the grail (Joseph of Arimethea), the Prose Merlin, Prose Lancelot, the Quest for the Holy Grail, and the Death of King Arthur
* Guinevere and The Last Tournament, from Idylls of the King by Alfred Lord Tennyson
My favorites are the Chretien works, and Guinevere--they are so beautiful! Has anyone else read these?
